Tiller BEFCO 366 ROTARY TILLER QUESTIONS

Hi Guys. This is my first post and I have questions re the above tiller. I am looking at a used one (60") which I'm told is about 20 yrs old. They are not in current production and the dealer who sold it is out of business. It seems to be in decent shape. But can you still get parts for it? Any pros or cons on this particular model? Anything specific to look for on a used tiller? Any help or advice would be appreciated and I'm gonna do a search on Befco tillers in general. BTW I'm running a Kubota L3010 4x4 w/ FEL, and loaded AG tires. I THINK I'm OK size wise?? Oh, the price is $1500 - how does that sound?

Not knowing anything about Befco or the quality of the tiller, I think $1,500 is very high for a used tiller.

Tractor supply has a brand new 72 inch tiller for $1,299.

Why buy used?

Befco makes decent equipment but I agree with Eddie and would check some other prices before I bought.

Befco makes good stuff. If I was going to buy a tiller I would buy a Befco. The price is way off. I probally wouldn't give but 500.00 - 800.00 for it. I priced a new 51" with slip clutch for 1700.00 from Befco. I would look else where.
