Result: fhey plugged the drain pipe and dammed the spillway.

Larry -- At my place if you knock a hole in one of their dams it will be plugged the next morning -- unless of course they get sudden onset lead poisoning that night

national geographic just had a show on them. they can build a dam in a month, so knocking holes in it will not really do much except make them work more.
also the dam is trianglar shaped, which once they have the first couple layers down they keep expanding it, really strong, really hard to move.
