Beaver III decent price?

Unit has 1000 hours, new rubber, no implements. Lousy paint job with a brush. No decals, seems tight and solid. What is an intelligent guess as to what this hoss is worth up in the Northeast?

4WD? 1000 hrs is really no big deal, 3hp all there? Turf tires? 3 cylinder?I would say from my tractor dealings/searches 1600- 2200 2wd 2200-2800 4wd. From what ive read, parts for those are starting to get scarce although bone yards seem to always have a Beaver or two.

Owner asking 4000 bucks. Engine exhaust belied the hour meter, I think this went around several times past 1000. Looked decent, I was not satisfied with the explanations to my questions. Felt the price was way, way too high, especially since this was Appalachia.
