Mowing Beaver Finish Mower PTO speed question

I'm just getting around to playing with the finish mower for my Beaver. The Woods BH states right on the side that it is to be used on PTO setting "2" but I see nothing on the FM stating what speed it is to be used. Thanks.

I have a satoh with a woods rm42 and on the woods mower it indicates that PTO speed 2 is recommended. I've run mine on PTO speed 1 when the field is high and needs knocked down and I've run it on 3 before. 3 speed make me nervous and I only run it when I'm on my lawn and certain of hitting no objects. But 2 is the norm.

My Beaver also came with a Woods RM42 and it is stated in the paperwork that I have (somewhere) that #2 is the recommended setting- it is 540 rpm I believe and I have never operated it in 1 or 3 since the indicated setting has always done the job well.
