I have a satoh beaver with the manufactuers bush hog. It has a clutch instead of shear pins. The clutch slips badly. There are no springs on the studs. I notice aftermarket clutches have springs to adjust the pressure. Should there be springs on the studs? I am going to disassemble it later today and see how bad the friction parts are worn.
