Bearings for Timber Ax?

Anyone have any aftermarket ideas or links to get the drum bearings for the Timber Ax? They are about $460 from my local dealer.

Is it a 'special' type of bearing ?

Don't know about your area, but a "bearings-are-us" type of supplier near me has never let me down yet.
I walk in with the old one and 'usually' leave with a replacement in hand.

They are a double row spherical (self aligning) bearing , more than likely metric and are quite expensive . My machines run 2233 bearings and are around $180 AU each , I would think they would be a lot less over there . Make sure you don't over grease them , they will fail prematurely . As Willl said , any bearing center can supply them , either by part number or measurements .

Sometimes there will be a part number on the bearing itself that can be cross referenced.
