Bearcat 554 Chipper & i-Match top link

Just an update here. I drilled a couple holes in some flat stock and bolted them on. Then I checked to make sure that it would work because there isn't much room for the i-Match hook in there. A couple of welds across the top hopefully will keep everything from moving around.



Since I don't plan on using the blower I made a cover for the pulley that powers the blower and a deflector for the discharge screen.

Nice job, Bro...you have motivated me to get off my dead *** and do something!

So, why aren't you going to use your blower? My Woods 5000 (same as your chipper/shredder) doesn't have one...I'd like to get a blower, but not a thousand bucks worth of "like".

FYI, the shackle is only a 2.5" extension, not 3.5 like I wrote in post 1.

The blower I had years ago had 3/4" holes in the screen and the fan would plug up constantly when shreading and this new one has 1.5" holes in the screen. So I just figured it would plug up even more -- when shreading. When the blower plugs up, it is a Bear Cat to unplug because of the weight. I think that is how it got it's name.

When chipping, the blower workes flawlessly.
