Use caution when ordering online from Tractor Supply. Make absolutely sure it is the item you want as they will not let you cancel an order even though it has not shipped. When I ordered a toy tractor for my grand daughter's 3rd birthday (yah, she loves tractors ) and found out the next day that someone else already got her the same thing, I called Tractor Supply to try and cancel the order. After talking to a couple of customer service reps and supervisors, and even though it would not ship for another 5 days, they would not cancel the order. They said my only choice is to refuse delivery. How stupid is that ? Extra cost and trouble for everybody. They refunded my money less the shipping cost and they were stuck with extra handling to both ship and then receive the item. I told them there system was broke and could not recommend to anyone ordering from their website.

I had a false charge on my card couple months ago and called CC company and they want you to prove 9 ways to Sunday that you did not make the charge. Before this new credit card legislation was passed, I could call and stop or change a transaction dead in its tracks. Good luck, I am still waiting for my $65 credit. Ken Sweet

Ken it sounds like we are living in changing times.

By the way I checked out your equipment web site. You do an awesome job of presenting your inventory photos and some details. Too bad I live on the MS river side of the state.

To figure the width of a disc does one compute it based of the width of the front or rear gangs?

Thanks for the compliment, we are going to do a major update over the off season as we have added a few new lines of equipment, Hawkline, Tarter, Phoenix and Farm Max and reluctantly dropped Big Bee wholegoods. To figure a disc working width of cut, I always measure the front overall cut, then the back overall cut and split the difference. Ken Sweet

I hesitate to order anything online except from Amazon.com. Those folks really have their act together. Low prices, free shipping on most items, fast delivery, no taxes, no hassle returns. Never ordered anything online from TSC since they have a store 20 miles from here. The only thing I don't like about the TSC store is that it's nearly impossible to shop and not buy something. They have good quality merchandise not found at Wallyworld or the other big box stores. :)

I like going to the TSC retail store as well. They did not have the toy tractor in stock but told me I could order it online. I won't make that mistake again and just wanted pass on this experience to others.

CC refunds..

I have 2 stories on this one..
1. low credit line small card no real history.. this was a real PAIN...
2. high limit, major name card-- one call- explained the deal- refund in 24 hours.

when I talked to a co-worker about this-- I found out that it is all about the limit, the history and card... American Express-- SIMPLE-- Mastercard- OK.. Visa-- painful.

If the card is a small time provider--- UGGGG...

just thought yall might find this interesting..J

I thing I like about TSC online is their ship to store option. I am a sucker for their clearance item page and last fall paid $1.60 each for 36 adjustable wrenchs in multiple sizes. Had them shipped to the local TSC, took 2 days and they called me to let me know they were in. Kept half (I do so hate losing a "good" tool off the tractor, don't even think twice about these) and used the others for stocking stuffers. Now my nieces won't talk to me.

Online order is not their only issue's. I've had terrible run in's with them at their stores. Seems like the one store{utica NY} has major customer issue's. Not only are they VERY unhelpfull but on top of it rude. Another TSC I go to is fairly decent but you still have to watch prices and such.
