Lets make this the video thread. I know when I was first shopping for a walk behind tractor I was upset there wasn't much in the way of video; atleast that I could find. I've started making a few videos with mine in recent weeks as time allowed. See below:

Heres a video of my generator attachment working with a brief explanation.

Heres a video of my Zanon 40" mower mowing the steeper side yard of my house. This was particularly important to me as I largely bought the BCS tractor for mowing this steep stuff.

And here is a video for comparison of the cheaper 30 "Combo" mower. Mowing the same steep hill. On the same day

Great videos. I always wanted to know how the generator set-up worked. Thanks for the explanation. The Zanon mower appears to be making a good cut whereas with the BCS 30" mower the cut appeared to be a bit ragged. How do you compare the mowing quality of the two mowers?

I would hope the Zanon 40" finish mower has a better cut than the 30" BCS bush hog. Zanon has 2(?) blades, BCS has one. If the BCS is like mine, it is a single solid blade, the newer ones have swinging bladed. Two different mowers, for two different jobs. I have the 30" BCS bush hog and the 38" BCS finish mower. Like them both for what they do. Those are good videos, let me know that the whirring sound the bush hog makes is normal :) For me the bush hog is great in heavier brush and steep slopes, even steeper than shown. And for me, brush includes briars and multiflora rose, so thick pants, shirt and gloves help save my hide. I have mine set up with duals and weights also, does seem to help on slopes.

I have the blade set higher on the combo mower, so its not entirely a fair comparison to look at the cuts. But it does have a prettier cut. One thing is that the Combo mower generally doesn't leave a windrow. It pretty evenly spreads clippings. Whereas the Zanon has a chute on one side and does leave a windrow if I haven't mowed in a good while. The zanons width is a much faster mower. There is far less overlap loss just with the extra 10 inches. It feels like half the laps not 75%.

And yeah, cmyoung2 that sound freaked me out when i first got the combo mower running after i bought it used, but it seems to work great. I swapped gear oil and no scary shavings or anything. I can't decide whether to sell or keep the combo mower at this point. I'll keep it for a little while. The fact that its so light weight might be handy for some mowing spots.

Wow UT. Those were great. After watching that I'm thinking about the 33 inch Zanon for my 739. How exactly did you rig up the duals? That's going to make things a lot more stable.

My wheels have a 5" extension set. (Each side has a 2.5 inch extender). Both wheels are connected on either side of a single spider. My inner wheel is as close as it can be to the tractor, the outer is as far as it can be. Total width of the tires is around 34". It looks kind of goofy without the 40" mower, but it sure does grip. This was made possible because I found a used 2nd set of wheels on ebay. Maybe this will be another good video to do.

And not wanting this thread to lose its purpose, heres another video farmerboybill recently posted:

Just made this video this evening. This is a (I think) Ravenna trailer made for BCS back in the late 80's, early 90's. I had a gentleman call me outta the blue last week with a snowblower, sickle mower, and this trailer to sell. I made it clear to him that I would be giving him a wholesale price as I am a dealer, but he was fine with that as he didn't want to sell the items himself.

My kids are more pumped than I am that I bought a trailer. I had a new one here last summer that I sold with a Grillo G107d. When I delivered it to the buyer, they were crushed. All this past year, they've been asking me to get another one in. Now I have one of my own! This is a non-dumping model, but that doesn't matter. I had a little trouble with my reverser grinding. Will have to remedy that soon, also need to work on getting the brakes working again....

One other thing - the 830/850 is not ideal for trailer as it does not have road gear in puller mode. I also have a 735 diesel that I'll have to use instead if I want to use it at speed.

You have a beautiful family, Bill. Nice cart/wagon and having something similar is on my do to list.

I have a Lombardini diesel and it blows black smoke. I'm wondering if a filter setting on your camera was distorting the colors as your diesel showed as sort of blue looking smoke when accelerating. My guess is your Lombardini, being a late model diesel, has not had anywhere near the number of hours it would take to wear the rings so the camera filter is the factor.
