Battery

Does any one know what size battery will fit a s373d? Mine just bit the dust and it is a little too large. I would like to put the proper size in so I can bolt it down.

I'm sure a group 51 will fit. That is what I have used for years.

My 370D had a 51 as well though I've had a 56 in. While technically too big, it works fine and has never tried to fall out. Only reason I would buy a 51 is available. Not every stocks or even lists that size battery.

51R is easy to come by now. They are in alot of honda cars, nissan cars and a few others now. I picked mine up used out of a Nissan GTR. It was not quite up to turning the GTR fast enough to make it happy but has never given me a problem with the tractor. Also i figure some of that GTR horsepower should rub off on it.

Same as the 51 except the terminals are reversed.
