I replaced the OEM battery in my '09 Tacoma a couple of weeks ago out of fear it would leave me stranded on a back road somewhere. It might have lasted longer, I guess.
You guys have gotten way more out of a battery than I have ever gotten.
As I have stated. I have never gotten more than 5 yrs. Doesn't matter if I buy from the local Auto parts, or wally world
It's like they know when the warranty period is up ! LOL
Maybe it's where you live. I'm not being snarky, but my operating environment versus yours could be the factor.
could be all the hot humid weather sucks the life out of them :confused3:
Change mine every 5 years in our cars/trucks no matter what Equipment when they go bad about 8 years time frame. How long have you have had an automotive battery last ?
Reason I ask is, The original toyota battery in my son's 2007 Toyota Tundra just stopped working today !
I have never had a battery last more than 5 yrs
You gotta stop buying the batteries made on a Friday or Monday.
Here in Arkansas it's hot and humid. Then can get down to 0°f in the winter. The factory AC/ Delco battery was replaced last month on my 09 sierra. 10 years was a really good run.could be all the hot humid weather sucks the life out of them :confused3:

Yeah, it did leave for a bit thank goodness. Through the first week in October it was in the middle 90's still most days. Should have been here from early july through middle of September. It was miserable this summer.I was there last week. Your hot and humid weather must have left, because it wasn't hot and humid in the part of Arkansas where I was
