2015 LS G3038 that has a manufacture date of 2014. OEM battery was a little slower than usual to start yesterday with night time lows in the teens to single digits the past few weeks. How long have folks been getting out of the factory battery these days? I don't keep this on a tender but I suppose it might not hurt.

I don't know what's normal or average but if I get eight years out of any battery I'm happy. If yours is a bit slower to start now you may be able to nurse it along but figure on replacing it before next winter. The quality of the replacement battery will have a direct on its likely longevity.

Consider the thickness of your engine oil. Cold, engine oil might have been the equivalent of 120 weight the battery and starter had to turn over.

Our P7010C was purchased in 2014. Still original G31 battery in it. It is spinning a little slower too. Impressed that it lasted this long! S Korean MFG battery.

My first winter with my Kubota (battery and tractor less than one year old) the tractor would not start in the cold below 20 degrees. The battery, a branded Kubota battery, had enough juice to pre-heat with the glow pugs or crank for 10 seconds. Not both. Got a new Interstate with double the cold cranking amps and have not had any issue since.
I typically get about 5-6 years out of a battery. Sometimes less if its discharged often. Rarely more. I need to get more trickle chargers for the seldom used rigs.

Much warmer in Louisiana and in Florida, where I reside, warmed by the Gulf of Mexico, than in Colorado with a continental climate.

I got 8 years on my original LS battery, and was pretty happy.
Hardly ever get more than 4 years on the John Deere, usually less, I quit buying expensive batteries for this one, just get Walmart batteries, they seem to do as well as any other.

My MT225s is a year old. I just noticed today that the seal where the top is attached to the tub has cracked and is leaking battery acid out and onto my tractor......ugh! Time for a new one. I'll use this one to power my fuel pump in my remotely located fuel trailer.
