Battery Kill Switches

AGCO’s come with battery kill switches standard. I really like them. Remove key when you want extra security, or just shut off for any battery drain. Leaves radio powered and computer memory powered, too so you don’t lose any programmed stuff.

I have the inexpensive, negative battery post type.

This is what I have on my tractors.

I believe the ECM retains it's memory for a certain time whether it has a battery connected to it or not and they could have a built in battery that maintains the current to keep them viable.

if your tractor is a T4 final computer controlled HP common rail injection system, you do not want to install a a battery disconnect switch because the 'brain box' requires a constant supply of power to remain viable and not loose it's intel.
Another reason to buy an older tractor and put up with the maintenance and repair that it requires. All of these computer run machines have a serious issue with lifespan!
