battery cable for Belarus 250AS

I need to replace the battery cable on a Belarus 250AS. My knowledge of repairing tractors can fit in the eye of a needle so im looking for help. The cable is about 26inches long, runs from the positve post to the starter The tractor has two batteries hooked in tandem. The cable is about 26 inches longj. Can I use any tracor cable that is the same length or do I need one designed for tandem battery systems? Thanks for your knowledge.

You can use whatever cable you have on hand.
as long as the wire core is the same or better than the stock one.

Take it off and take to the parts house and get one just like it.

Make sure the battery post's are clean before putting on.
They make a battery post tool it looks like this.

Remember when unhooking a battery the grounded post (usually negative) first off and last back on even if you are working on positive cable.

I've had good luck buying heavy cables at Napa. If I order, they're there the next day.
