Don't know if Vermont's hydro electricity counts the one coming from Québec. In 2019, about 44% of the state’s electricity was from Hydro-Québec (As Vermont nears 75% renewable power, advocates question if it’s clean enough - Energy News Network)

As I struggle to wade through the noise about EVs, climate, etc YouTube popped this up by a cofounder of Greenpeace. After watching it I have ordered his new book from Amazon. I would suggest at least watch this before you spend the money for the book to see if it fits your psychological profile.
