I helped a friend rebuild his barn/shop and we used a lot of Cottonwood to sheathe it. Cottonwood tends to be stringy and will not plane down smooth, but works well for sheathing. Just don't let it get wet or it will warp and twist badly. He had the trees and had a local mill cut them into lumber. He saved a lot of money going this route over plywood or OSB. Just some food for thought. BTW nice job!
