I have read the posts from January and March on this subject. A lot of very good ideas. Will probably start the major work next summer. THis summer is dedicated to stabilizing the house and barn from any further weather intrusion. The barn will see the addition of rain gutters and downspouts along with a more desirable ground slope from the building. Here's some pic's of the foundation. By the way, there is no load on that stack of blocks in the 'South side outside' photo! The 12x12 is settin' on the slanted piece of 'crete! The photo of the 'North wall inside' showing the 12" I-beam...the cement block under that I-beam has already fractured. There's no center support under that 35' long I-beam!
