Disk blades help guide the wire off and keep the spool off the ground when using by hand in tight places. With a wire gripper tied to the hook often can stretch and position with tractor while securing to post. UHMW, brass washers, compression spring and nyloc nut give adjustable tension while unreeling. Helps keeping wire off the ground between stretcher posts.

I do that from a piece of half inch pipe on the 3 point hitch lower arms.
