Bar-Bar-a horse Drinkers

Hi.Does any one use the Bar-Bar-a Non electric horse drinkers for there horses?If so and you live in a area where it get's really cold in the winter does yours freeze up and cannot be used?do have a way of keeping the water from freezing?I have them and they freeze up i was thinking using maybe heat tape?If some one has a differnt idea all help is grealty needed.Live in SE Wisconsin.Thank's

Stock tank and submersible heater. Not pretty, but if the richie waterers are froze then cattle need something to drink.
