kennyd, how low can you lay cable with that rig?

I was looking at a KK sub-soiler that advertises 14" depth.

I think I got down about 12"-15" with it, it's been 3 years since I used it so I don't really remember exactly...

I know what I am going to add to my ripper now... Great idea!! I was just ripping and then digging out the loose dirt. Where do you put the line you are burying, off to the side along the path or do you hang it from the ROPS?

I just layed the lines off to the side, and fed it into the conduit when I used it. Keep in mind this was a one time use project for me, I was burying a line out to a location for a future shed before I put my lawn in. If I was using it more I would hang the reels from the ROPS or a bracket on the I-Match, I would also better secure the conduit to the ripper.

Chris - have you put shovels and rakes in yet - I was wondering if you drilled a hole and place thumb screws if that would help hold the tools better when traveling over rough ground. Maybe you don't need that....

I think when all was said and done. i manage to force about 7 and 1/2 bags. keep in mind there the 94 pound bags not the 50. if you use 50 it takes about 10 or 11 bags. i mixed in wheel barrow....:( its a job. it alot harder than mixing quick create.... But heavier....:)

and tools fit real well in pipes. i recant my original message. my pipes are not 2 3/4 there 2 1/4 so tools fit real good. but big enough for an AX or mattix. witch handle is bigger and flatter than a shovel.

Chris....:)

If i am not mistaken , I think i bought it from Northern tool.
thay had a big bucket and just cut what you need. as you can see thay only had 2 gold hooks so i had to get 2 zinc coated ones. i am going to get 2 more gold ones when thay come in..;) mine are 12 foot each. thay fit nice in the pipes

Chris....:)
