Baler serial HELP

Hi, we were given an old New Holland Baler! The only plate I can find shows:
A2813H153

Trying to work out the model and or serial number! A picture of the plate is show!

Looks to be a model 281 from a cursory search; that may not be any more info than you've got so far, but maybe it'll help you dig a little deeper.

Looks to me like a really ratty 77 Hayliner. Good luck getting it to bale anything. NH will have parts for it, even today but they won't be cheap.

The one in your picture sold for 210 bucks but it has a Wisconsin pony motor on it that is worth something. The Op's has nothing.

99% sure thats a “2” series because under model # it says “281”.

Whatever it is, it would be better as a yard ornament than anything else. getting an ancient baler like that to actually make a bale can and will be an exercise in frustration and lots of expensive parts.
