What can one expect to pay for a new N.H. 7060 round bailer in the Northwest region in todays economy.

Options on a BR7060 can add several thousands of dollars to the price. Nobody can answer with any degree of accuracy without knowing how you want it equipped. Once you figure that out, calls to two or three dealers will yield the best answers.
I haven't noticed equipment prices going down much unless you find a machine sitting on the lot that is in paid inventory, or coming due that someone is tired of looking at.

RickB is right about the options and packages adding significant dollars to the purchase price of the BR7060. Obviously in the SE I am completely out of touch with your market, but for example, you can get a BR7060 100 package that is just your bare bones baler-high quality, but missing some of your basic conveniences like the central grease bank and wider pickup. That unit, which we had to actually install the individual grease fittings ourselves, is built strictly for cost. We had two of them and they were "aged," meaning they were new but not paid for, but they had been on a lot somewhere for a little while (you still get all the warranty, discounts for cash, etc.). That designation gave an extra 4% discount at the time.
We also had a BR7060 that was a 200 package, had many more bells and whistles with a wider pickup, the bale command computer, and most of the features customers prefer in our area. It was also "aged." The price difference was about $4k, if that gives you ANY reference point.
New Holland also issues programs targeted to certain geographical areas which, for us, provided significant rebates that we could pass on. Your local dealer may or may not have a similar program depending on what is selling in your area. Hope that helps a little...
