Reminds me of a story I heard about my grandfather. He was learning to drive a tractor, having worked mules all his life and when he came to the end of the field he started saying whoa, the closer he got to the creek the louder he whoaed. He plowed a furrow right over the bank and into the creek before the tractor stalled.
