Oil & Fuel Bad loader cylinder, and some nasty oil......

The fluid will get exchanged. They engineer these things so fluid doesn't become stagnant. A good thing to do once in a while is to run the FEL all the way up and down a few times to make sure all the oil is being circulated.

If you'll notice the next time you buy a gallon jug of hydraulic fluid from your dealer - both the hy-vis and the lo-vis are a light brown color - not clear. In the container, it looks like "sun tea".

I think it would be a good idea to change your hydraulic filter while you're putting everything back together and before you replace all the hydro fluid, too. (And I'd change it again with the new fluid.)

I used to change my hydraulic filter every 2nd oil change on the JD970 and now with my 110, I change the primary (2 filters) every 2nd oil change as well.

Best of luck.

The next time I put the loader on I will be doing that. I try to do that as part of my routing periodically.
