Well like most days everything started off real good. Found bolts th hold forks on. There were some real pretty wild flowers at the south end of the barn. Panned on digging them up & putting the in a bucket. They had died & gone to seed. When there is a little rain they will come back up.

Go to tractor & think it is going to start right up. First put in the toggle switch, hole is too small. Get some tools & make it big enough.
Got that done & try to put in. Barley fits through the panel & nut is really hard to start. Get it stared & cant't turn it with fingers. Back to barn, then out south end, wrench is 14mm. nothing happens, pull fuse it looks good. Go to deck get the meter, fuse good, every other connection good. OK battery dead. Hook jumper cables to it. let truck run about 40 minutes. Now it will go. Nope even with jumper hooked up on click the solenoid. Bad battery. Was going to go today, but tomorrow is just as go. Scrounged up $40, buy some beer, containers of stew, milk, some eggs & 2 gal of diesel fuel. Know it has at least 4 gal in, but 2 more to be sure it has plenty. Then get forks on & move ugly pallets & fire wood.

Payday, get 4 more weeds & 1 hanging planter. Sure like to see something pretty.There is enough ugly in this world.

Have also seen too much death in my time on earth. Be glad to go any time the lord wants me.

Have a short story about line shack, this one has a happy ending. Had the real good one, but it got lost.

Off to town I go. Bad water leak, spraying way up in air. Not a place i can fix. When came home it is not praying, but still leaking. It is not a water line that I use. Will call Sandy & tell her it needs to be fixed.

Take in battery sure that it is bad. Guy says I have to charge it before I can test it. Come back in a couple of hours. Go to Lows time to kill. Get bird cakes & pretty weeds.

Of course I have to pee every 10 minutes. Go get diesel $7.75. Can leaks. OH crap. get little over 1 gallon. turn can so it does not leak. Eggs, milk, cream, NOPE Just get me home.

Well Get beer, price up $2.00. OH crap.

Toasted cheese sandwich , 2 times to day. Have a beer or 3.

Go in need to pee, nope 3 times = nothing. 4th time things begin to work Time fpr another beer or 3.

Look on line cans like mine $75 / 90. Crap again. Have 3 that leak, sure need to try & fix them. Weld or solder leaks, ???

Try J-B weld Jim, I have used it when my welder went south, especially on fuel cans.

Found the gas can used for chain saw. It is still good, will use it for a while. Holds about 3 gallons & that is fine.
Was so happy nothing was going to upset me. Then pee a minuet program turned into drizzle a minuet program. Bad enough, then I stared thinking about the VA doc, made an appoint in March, to see him June 21. He wants to do a biopsy on my bladder. BS either fix the problem or i will find another solution.
Not enough parking so they are using the space to build another building. Very brilliant. While on hold the computes says we are here to help. That is if you live long enough..
1 Other little problem, did not look at gas gauge, Had over 1/4 when I left, now almot in the red. Am sure it is enogh to to get to town, but will buy some high $$ stuff out here.

In theory if it takes over 30 days they are too pay for a civilian DR. No 1 will tell me how.
Guess I am just getting old & bitter.

Oh well life goes on.

Sad about the sorry state of the VA health care system. Our Veterans deserve better. Not much fun growing old, seems like everything hurts and it seems like just pain after pain after pain. Hang in there.

Caffeine seizes me up big time. Might be tough to cut out but decaf might help your flow.

Coffee usually makes thing happen. Doofy That is what the DR needs to fix.

I had a plan. As you know things never go according to plan. Install battery, that went well. Flip switch & it will start. Nope, mover wires arond, noting except fuel solenoid, clicks. try some more things. Nothing. Have a beer & think about.

Plant new pretty weed, that went real well, had to move it so I can see it better. Plan sunflower seeds, nope, ground full of rocks & very hard. Will have to put them n some buckets full of dirt. Pala Verdy's near Tucson Still very nice, full of flowers. My big one the flowers came & went. Use to water it, hose rotted away.

Nothing grows fast in the desert, wrong. My plumb & other guy with red leaves ( Had nice white flowers that are now gone to seed. Both about 40 feet high, 2 Ever greens over 10 feet tall. All this was planted less than 10 years ago. Sour orange tree froze off, started over next year, now about 7 feet tall, maybe 5 years old.

Life is great if you don't weaken. Not going to do that. Cool AM - Hot in PM.
