BAh Humbug Awe Crap & all that sort of thing.
Well still broken. Went over & was going to see if I could fix it. Clinton was there & there was supposed to be a well person on his way. Did he show up??? I left & am waiting for Clinton to call. When trying to talk to is mother, she is near impossible to understand.
Didn't know he did it but Doug brought me a sack of bird seeds & fed the birds. That was nice.
yesterday he brought me a bunch of water, sure glad. In the AM will fill the cooler, it will work for a little while & I may add more later.
Have a window AC in the bedroom, sure helps, but really can't keep up, Holds at about 84/5. Lot better than the living room, it's still at 92. have doors open & it should cool down in a little while. Down to 85 outside.
Stayed cool long enough to make a couple of small potatoes in to chips. Tried a few with vinegar, pretty good, but liked plain salt better.
One of the kits on E.bay sold today for $82. Nice little kick in the wallet. Sure did need it. Pretty sure everything listed will sell, 2 more have early bids. That leaves about 9 things listed. Will add some more tomorrow. Got to keep the $$$ coming in, even if it's only little ones. Can keep selling for a year or 2, with what I have here. Some fairly big $$$ & some just little $$. Packed up a couple items today. Now I knw 1 of the reasons that I quit selling.
How to milk a cow.
First she is going to swat you with her tail. Tie it up so she can't.
Squirt barn cat in face with milk, cat happy.
Next cow will kick the 1/2 filled bucket over.
Squirt cat & let it clean up spilled milk.
next cow will put her foot in the bucket.
By now the 3 legged milking stool will have slipped out from under you a few times.
& Of course the flies will be attacking the whole time. :laughing:
An almost true story. Just the facts mam.
During the war mom had a small dairy, 4 or 6 cows & 2 or 3 milk goats. Really good milk, goats milk even richer than cows.
Tried to ride a nanny goat once. Not a good idea. Back bone feels like a razor or saw. No fun at all. Wsa about 5 at the time.
