Was kidding the young lady at DG & said merry Honica. She laughed & said it was over yesterday. How do you know that. she says because I am Jewish. Very few Jews in this area. years ago when I was in business a very good customer was Jewish Rabi. His wife wrote articles for the LA Times. They were always going on a cruise. Cruise ships have a Rep of all religions.

Tomorrow of to Wally World, get Muck-a-luck style boots / slippers. Warm gloves & small microwave.

Next day cut wood, burned just about everything in the house, even soft wood. Its 28 outside & getting colder, weather channel says 27, it will be several degrees colder here. Bought a pair, said size 11, could not even begin to get them on. Doug gave me 11 $$ for them. Gave him little wimpy heater & a pair of gloves that hoped would keep my hands warm. Nope just good for grip. Still have 3 pair left.

With wood stove burning, propane heater going + big wimpy it keeps getting colder in here.

Do yall have hickory there? I filled the stove with some seasoned hickory a while back and was afraid it was going to melt the darn thing. That stuff burns hot.

Baby its cold outside & inside as well.
Sill at 31 at 8am. was 57 in house. Propane heater working away for over an hour & still only 63.

Muck-a lucks, nope for only$1 more got some not as good.

BS pays off for once. New small microwave, sign says $44.44. Its bright red, not for me. Next to it a stainless one same price tag on shelf, They want $53 for it. Nope $44.44 is what I am willing to pay. They drop it down to $48. Only a little over the 44, think about it for a minute go to customer service & say take it back & just give my $ back. So they drop it the 44.48. It really is a better oven. So me happy.

Off to Fries, see the lady named Thelma, just want to tell her about problems with shrimp & crab going south in less than 4 days. She comes back with a big package of each, for free. First time in my life I used a coupon #1 off on purchase over $15. WOW save another whole $1. All together about $20.00 that is like real money now days to me.

Dog is trying to become a member of the family. Comes in at night & lays on trash to be thrown out, then down the hall & a little later at the foot of the bed for the night. Jan sent Bobby a big ham bone, thought this will take a while, maybe not finish until tomorrow, nope gone i less than an hour. She is funny, lays 1 place for a while to chew on bone, then moves to another & so on.1 Of Bobby's favorite things is to go in & out of house. Kind of a pain sometimes.

Got a 2 burner hot plate, sure is nice ( Made China of course. ) But it works good. Later when it warms up will do pork chops & eggs & not have do in same pan. ee her Christmas eve & get some Smoked ham & deviled eggs. When I boil eggs I eat them before I have time to do anything else with them. Same with taters, eat before make salad.

Happy Christmas & Merry new year that is on the way. Me not stay up to watch the ball fall, if possible I sleep through it.

BAH HUMBUG
New microwave is a dud. Missing part that turns the plate & in only 5 minutes it will warm up a cup of coffee. Back to WM, what a pain. Fairly normal for me, to get a reject.

Just wanted to stay home with Bobby Girl & Dog. But Jan is making a big ham & other things, Larry not here, Wayne or her son may or may not show up. So will go eat with her. Just hope the pee & poop things behave.

Started on fixing tractor. 2 wires broken 1 in 2 places. Need to remove a panel, maybe tomorrow or next day. No rush on anything here or for me.

Just want to be warm.

Have more than enough food, lots of things that I like, some on the OK list. Use to go to food bank mostly for American cheese. That was for the mutts. Not so hot, if Cheddar is around.

Santa came early to Jan's house, brand new in the box fake tree, new lights, & several strands of lights that were good about 10 years ago.
