2 ready to shoot slings, 1 to start finishing (Holey wood - Cholla cactus) It is actually very strong. & the 1 with red rubber broke on 1 side. ( sharp edge on hole) will replace it.

little glider called figit . #2 is broke, may never fix. #3 is a little commercial guy.
May build a rubber powered 1 in the future.

Hawk comes by every day. Don't always see it. Youngster came in, it flew into the window no the cave. Not as smart as the adults. But it will learn.

still have not finished painting the deck.

Did put up another shelf today. It in mow loaded up.

very disappointed in the store bought glider. It refuses to fly correctly.

Hawk is here several times a day. Came in late today almost dark. ( Been almost dark all day, clouds & over cast.

Got most of things taken down for picture, back up & out of the way.

Mouse on deck is 1 heck of a thief. Even stole a torch lighter, paint brushes, beer cans mouse traps & so on.
caught it (Him / Her ??) in the act today, left so fast it really hit its head. Must have hurt. Has so far avoided the stickies.
Same with a little mouse in the house.

Bobby Girl is funny, if we go out side, even several times a day, she gets excited. When we come in you would think it was her first time ever in the house.

Think the bed bugs are back. Need to spray the bed down a few more times. Have bites where mosquito's can't get to. They are still around, Yellow light bulb helps & bug spay also helps Always something to make me miserable.

Will be out of coffee in a day or 2, not much gas, & no $$. Will never let myself get this way again. May run out of beer for a day or 2. But life goes on. Could borrow a few $$ but don't want to.

Mad at bank, paid a bill on something I was trying to cancel, now overdrawn & charged $35. Will be moving that account to a different bank soon. Will start if next pay day. Once I get the debit card it will be moved. Phone not working so can't even call them.

Not shown in the pictures are some aluminum shaft arrows that I plan on turning into some canes & walking sticks.

Being in the entomology department - bed bugs are pretty darn resistant to chemicals. Very high heat works, good luck with them, don't let the bed bugs bite....

A little up date.
Yep they are bed bugs. Found 2 1 dead & 1 live one. "Home Defense" seems to work fairly well, sprayed everything down again
Big mouse on the deck is RAT. That is how it moves some really large things. Yep I tried out the bucket & had no luck. may try it some more.
Squirrel came & looked in the dog door, think it would have come in if I had not spoken to it.
Birds are funny & fun to watch. yes they do like to play & have a good time.
Cactus wren slid down the rail on the out door stairs. Did it 3 or 4 times. Years ago quail lined up to slide down it. Quail love a fresh pile of sand, they slide down it over & over. Bacon grease & cheese, little guys love it. made some crisp bacon, crumbled it up mixed with the seeds, it goes in a hurry. Young quail a lot braver than the adults, when I throw seeds the young ones come up close & seeds fall on or around them, they just keep eating & pay me little attention.

2 things, 1 i have no body fat (about 120#), hot climate & blood does get thinner. At 1 time I was over 250#, did not like it, skin did not fit. Trying to eat more & better, but almost never get hungry, have just force my self to "Choke" down even things I like.

Have decided to use most of my figit time to make things that may sell. Well a few fun things. Small shelf that will only get cute or fun things on it. Hard to believe how strong & stiff cholla wood is with all its holes & being hollow. Got some old sagurao ribs out of barn. They too are also very strong & stiff. they do not have to be very big either.

Sort of winning the bug fight on Bobby, Have not found 1 for a few days.
Mosquitoes still at it. Spray works pretty well.Tried to buy a bug killer candle, but it was not in stock.

Pain pills. Ba Humbug.
Did nothing for the pain. But I sort of went loony, did lots of stupid things. Such as not paying the bills & buying things I didn't need, at least at that time.

Dreamed he was here, got the deck all cleaned off & finished. Some major clean up in the house. & there is some old coffee in the motor home. It was a dream but quite real. I know that sometimes i dream in color. 2 With some blue paint in them.

Bobby not only snores, but she also dreams. Was funny yesterday. Did not see or smell the squirrel yesterday, but heard or smelled it way out in the yard.

Life is not all bad.
But a couple of nights ago, bugs attacked. Yep near impossible to get rid of. I s creamed, tried to cry, stomped my feet & so on.
Was almost ready to blow my head off & burn everything down. Even looked up the VA crisis line on the net. Yep heat will kill them 120 for 2 days or more or -32 for the same time. Neither very practicable.

Was having less than good thoughts about Doug. Have given him a 30 pack of beer recently, a new can of coffee & a dozen eggs. Today he showed up with a skillet Sort of a cross between cast iron & tin. Gave 15 beers & some coffee. Of course we sucked up a few before he left.

Coffee from motor home about 15 years old tasted worse than bad. Awful would be the best description.

On & under the deck is a mouse, rat & a squirrel, all a pain in the butt. Under the deck they have dug a big hole. washed the dirt back in it, with lots of water. Figured something would come out. Nope, will do the same in a day or 2.

Loud beeping a morning or so ago. What old thermostat, smoke alarm, old thermostat to run cooler, nope none of those. When resetting the clock in the bed room, some how I set the alarm.

Got a large box out of the barn to put things in, to keep the critters out of. Washed it & that raised the vainer, glued it back, some still puckered. May sand it down & refinish it some day. Probably not. Did put a handle on the lid.

Plan on things to do, want to do things, think about doing things + not doing anything but thinking.

Stop smoking on hold. So much stuff going on, some good a lot bad. Not just the other things, I am a figit person & have to have something to do with my hands. Really oral obsessed, chew on the wood tips, cheese balls, just most anything.

Really enjoy the birds. Doves were fighting over who was going to eat the seeds in a little dish on the rail right outside the window. Lots of little birds, curve bills, Even a cardinal now & then. had what looked like an Inca Dove on the rail a couple of days ago. Way too big for an Inca, It was sick. At first the other doves would get close & sit there. Soon it went to the other side. The other doves chased it off. Glad did not want to find another dead bird this year or ever.
With lots of birds, some dead ones are to be expected.

Feel sorry for troubles, she gets Skinner all the time, owners should feed her, but??? Have to block the dog door at night or she comes in & eats Bobbies food.

A little up date.
Anyone see the double moon a few nights ago?? Just a sliver of a moon. Thought my eyes might being playing tricks on me. Looked at it with 1 eye at at a time & of course both eyes.

heard an owl for the first time this early AM. Way in the distance. Also a coyote for the first time in a while.

Squirrel is cute but they are becoming pests. Think it was a squirrel that doug under the the deck. Even took a small alum tray down there. Don't think they have doug there any more.

Yep 2:30 AM, sitting on the deck having a beer, cooking crab cakes. Got an old bar b q cooker going, sure glad I did. It even warms up the deck. A little slow, but very quiet. One end hot the other not very hot.

Bobby wanted in the broom closet, opened the door & she came out with a mouse stuck to a sticky. She would bite it, but gently, So I stomped it There are still more.

Winning the war on itches. Best thing is to ignore them & eventually go away. Wish I could say the same for pain. Would even try pot if I was not allergic to it

Tinatas is a strange thing. left ear shuts up now & then. Right 1 never shuts up, but does quiet down now & then. It will also change tones now & then

Now officially an old fart. birthday came & went.

Lots of things to sell at little swap meet tomorrow. Sling shots, canes, walking sticks & some crosses. Plus lots of other things, May sell nothing, but sure would like to sell a lot.
