Bad Boy Zero Turn Safety Devices

Can anyone tell me how to bypass the safety devices so you can get off without it dying? It's not just unplugging the seat switch. I did that and you couldn't manipulate the parking brake or pull in the steering arms without it dying. I just want to be able to jump off real quick, move a branch or rock and pick up trash. Thanks.

You should just have to set the brake and shut off the PTO to keep the engine running. I wouldn't try to over ride the PTO safety.

Yep. Turn off the PTO, apply the parking brake then move the handles out. I keep getting the last two out of order so it might be the other way around.

I'm pretty sure it dies if you move the handles out first so apply the parking brake. I'm always jumping off mine to pick up fallen branches that look too large to cut up.

That doesn't work with mine. It's a 60" cut and the seat kill switch doesn't allow you to lean over much. And you certainly can't reach it from the front. If you're close enough to pick it up, you probably already ran over it. Even so, what do you do with it after you pick it up?

put it on the floor board. have a garbage can near where you keep your mower and when you get a few pieces on the floor drive over to the garbage can and toss it in and go back to mowing
