Backup Camera from Skid Steer Solutions

Skid Steer Solutions Website Offers a Backup System Camera for Bobcats. I am wondering if anyone out there has this system and it's applicability to the Toolcat?

Don't have it, but seen it on their site....about $200. Many SSLs and CTLs have very limited rear visability and are constantly backing up on often busy work sites, so I can see their value for many applications. Toolcats have great visability and are not shuttling from forward to reverse nearly as much so I would consider the value as much less.

Unless you have toddlers or young kids running around the homestead (or even an old dog)......then I would say - Priceless !! Or, if you routinely carry bulky items in the rear such as sprayer, sander/spreader, etc. Back-up alarms are around $30 and may help also.

I've thought about a backup camera too but haven't figured out where it could be mounted to stay protected and still provide a decent picture. Monitor would need to be small with limited cab space.

The Toolcat offers excellent forward visibility but the hitch area on the back is a blind spot. If Bobcat adds a 3-pt one of these cameras may be the ticket for not only hooking up but watching the rear implement while in use.

I have the skid steer solutions camera system on my v417. Don't really need it on my toolcat. Can see just fine. Not many blind spots. Work good.
