i HVE A GC1723 E WITH FRONTLOADER. I RECENTLY BOUGHT A 2720 BACKHOE ATTACHMENT (WITH SUB-FRAME AND SEAT. DEALER SAYS THAT I CAN'T ATTACH IT TO MY TRACTOR, HAS ANYONE DONE THIS. I FIND NO DIFFERENCES IN MY TRACTOR AND THE ONE I REMOVED IT FROM. PLEASE ADVISE

Do I understand correctly that you have both the tractor and the backhoe in your possession? If so, go try it and see if it'll fit. Maybe I misunderstood your post.

Based on the following, seems like they should be compatible… the only question is there any material difference between the gc1700 and your gc1723e and their loaders.
Other thought is there could be different subframes needed for different model tractors.
