Hello all, I am actually a pre-newbie, not having taken delivery of my new TC26DA yet (tomorrow!). In addition to the 12LA loader and filled industrial tires I have ordered a Wallenstein GX600 BH with the 3ph mount. My property is about 7 acres, with about 4 covered with very-shallow root cedar and spruce trees...there's not much topsoil in the area. I'll be using the tractor to move around rocks (stones?) weighing up to about 100 lbs each but most in the 10-50lb range that are scattered around the open part of our property (waterfront...the 'beach' is made of up of these stones). Question is, how much do you think I can get out of my bh given it's a 3ph mount and not a frame mount? I avoided the frame mount because I want the ground clearance to get over my somewhat rocky terrain. The dealer (who knows the terrrain and the area) said no probs with the 3ph mount but I'm wondering if popular opinion agrees with him or if I may be going for the frame mount in the future. Also, I chose to run the BH off the tractor hydraulics and did not install the pto driven hydraulic pump on the bh...saving several $100s for now. I can add that later too. Will I need to? Voting begins now, and thanks in advance for your thoughts.

At risk is your tractor which is likely to break in half by mounting a three point hitch backhoe on it. Who is recommending that baxkhoe and is that worth several hundred bucks? Think About it!!!
