Backhoe backhoe stabilizer on a MF 50 need to remove pin

I have just purchased an MF 50. The Stabilizer cylinders are leaking. I need to remove the bottom pin. I have attempted Blaster, hot wax, heat, gear pulley, 20 ton hydraulic jack and of course the old sledge hammer. nothing has moved the pin. Is it threaded??? or tapered??? Any answer will be appreciated.

make sure end of pin is not mushroomed, then get bigger hammer. you can make a punch by welding a pin on a piece off pipe (it will look kind of like this T then you can have some one hold it and you can way lay the fool out of it). Might try heating it red hot then pouring water over it

Hi I have the same problem and have tried like you did . How did you get on as I too would appreciate any info?

My buddy and I did this on the 2" pin on the front end of his backhoe. Heat, If you can do it hot as you can . It wont likely ever cherry because there is too much heat sink, his was. Then let it cool. After get out yea old pneumatic air chisel and a HF 15 buck one like mine works fine. Having enough suds on hand to keep you happy helps as well. douse with penetrating oil. Then cut the tip off one of the cutters so there is a flat point and it won't cut. Oil up that gun and fire away. Get the earplugs on because it will be a long session. Tapping and oiling at the same time just keep oil on that pins edges . Eventually you will see the crack looks a tad wider as the oil begins seeping in. It's a process but worked and I have used that pneumatic hammer every time I get a stuck nut now and it works far better than it should. As always having 2 guys makes it better.
I took it a step further and put a pointed tip into some shale outcroppings in my yard. Same result fantastic. Just dig around till you find a crack and exploit it. Takes a while but sure beats hammering and smashing your hand with a hand chisel.
