Backhoe backhoe pump PTO broke *%#!!

Hey All,

So while trying to engage backhoe pump PTO it when pop crunch grind and now there is no discernable position and no function. So the question is do you have to pull the the hydraulic lift mechanism/tank off. And has anybody done this type of fix? What level does the tractor have to disasembled? Any input would be appreciated. "easy" "hard", split tractor? Things go "shhproyoing" and go flying?

If you are talking about the PTO engagement lever at your right ankle ??

The book calls it a shift lump....... that may be broke?.

The hyd lift box does have to be removed. I don't think it is a hard job ....... just heavy!.

I agree with Ronald,the shift lump either broke or came out of the spline sleeve,you must remove the lift box,it is heavy.If you need any parts we have them in stock
