I took the backhoe off to mow and when I tried to put it back on there was no pressure at the controls. So I switched the hoses repeatedly, checked the shutoff pins in the connectors to make sure one wasn't cocked or stuck. I had to get the hoe on the tractor as my building was on it's way to be set on the slab where the hoe was sitting.

Finally in desperation I tried the remote levers on the self centering side. I finally got it hooked up to the machine but it still doesn't work right. Anybody ever experience anything like this before? I don't know what could have changed. I'm at my wits end (which doesn't take much) I don't want to haul it to the dealer if I don't have to. As it's a half day project. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If the bh worked prior to removing it, there must be something wrong with the QDs. Are you sure you have them completely inserted? I only ask because you can get pressure in the bh lines which won't let you get them fully inserted. Some members have tapped the ball on the connector of the bh lines to relieve the pressure using a piece of wood to protect the ball from the hammer. I can usually just move all of the control levers around on a KB2375 and it works for me. You say something still isn't right. Can you explain? Maybe you have the hoses connected in reverse which makes the bh slightly work but incorrectly as you said. My bh is on a CK30hst.

I've switched the hoses several times and manipulated the sealing tips as mine are not the ball kind. Still no luck. I brought home a new set of connectors and will switch them out this weekend and see if that corrects the problem. Thank you for your reply.

Do you have something else you can connect to the rear remotes to test them? Assuming they work then at least you know the issue is with the backhoe.
Does your hoe have lockout pins to stop the hoe moving (transport or when parked) that you didn't take out? I've caught myself forgetting to take them out of my hoe occasionally before I go to use it!
