As far as stablizers goes, I only hear the noise when in the full up position. No noise anywhere else in the stroke of the piston to get them to the ground. I don't put them out at full extention so I can't say if it happens then. From what I've read on smc's site, they make rhino and alot of oem backhoes and loaders.

Tom from your first post my guess was the relief valve making the racket that you hear at the extreme travel on all your cylinders. I might suggest giving the good folks at Rhino a call before you purchase a relief and talk it over with them. No one should know better than the folks that made the backhoe.
