Backhoe Hydraulic Hook ups

I have a 3016 with a backhoe. My question is can I connect my log splitter hoses to the fittings that I normally connect the backhoe to?

You should be able to as long as your splitter has its own valve and it is an open center type. Meaning that the lines from the splitter should be open when the valve is in its center position.

I think most of them are, pretty sure mine is. Three position lever, down, open center and up.
