Hey all,

Looking for some advice and info. I'm considering putting a backhoe on my 2003 Branson 3510. I have several questions I was wondering if anyone could help me with.

-Will the 3510 handle the backhoe well enough?
-Which model backhoe would I be able to install?
-Is it difficult to mount/unmount?
-Are there other brands that will fit the Branson?
-Lastly about how much should I expect to pay?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I bought a new/old stock Jinma Hoe on on ebay and modified the sub-frame to fit my 05 3510.
I paid less than $2800. including shipping and it has paid for itself on the first job, replacing a drain field.
The Jinma is not the best but it gets the job done.
I made a 6" wide bucket for it and it is very handy for stump removal and water/electric lines.
This one is a pain to hook up sometimes trying to get the sub frame lined up using the hydraulics.
Pics are taking down a tree that was dying digging up the roots and pulling it over.

I have a 2005 or 2006 Branson 3510i. It had a backhoe from the dealer when I got it. The manual on it says that it is a B7620 model.
Manufactured by : Amerequip Corporation, 1015 Calumet Avenue, P.O. Box 36, Kiel WI 53042

I don't use the hoe a lot but the things I have done it worked fine. I think I have 16 in bucket on it. I have dug a 100 ft trench for power and a hole for a cattle guard. And few little things around here. I have a lot of rocks, most of them are the size of basketballs, some bigger. I have to work to get them out because there are some many of them. But if you have sandy soil I think it would be a piece of cake to dug with it. One thing I don't like about it is the the left and right boom control is a little touchy. It will move to fast if I don't watch what I'm doing.

As far as taking it off and on, I take it off ones a year to put a snowblower on. I block it up because of the bleed down of the hydraulics. It is off the tractor for six months at a time. It only takes me about 20 minutes to do it. Think it would take less time if I didn't block it up.
I wash I could say the same about putting it back on. It's a lot of up and down to get it lined up. If you have second set of eyes it would make it a lot easier.

I don't know how much one would cost, mine was a package deal.

I hope this helps you .

Just make sure you have a sub frame on one if you buy one.
The sub frame will keep from breaking the tractor in half!!
The hoe puts a lot of strain on the center of the tractor and can break it at the bell housing.

Branson has hoes in some of their tractor packages if that's what the customer needs. Have you asked them about one to purchase as a stand alone item?
