Backhoe Backhoe dolly??

I was thinking of building a special dolly that my backhoe would sit on when not on the tractor. Then, rather than backing the tractor up to the hoe, you would bring the hoe to the tractor. This, in theory, should make backhoe installation a lot easier. Any thoughts? Has anyone tried this before?

check out http://home.comcast.net/~mburnickas/ this site has info on dollies for a BX 22 backhoe and the procedure to utilize them...slight differences from the normal procedure where the arms are left on the horizontal. /forums/images/graemlins/ooo.gif

I built a dolly for my B4690 BH. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
It makes the job of installing and removing the BH a 10 to 15 minute job instead of a pain in the ----. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

I can post a picture of it next weekend if it will help.
