I have a litw bh6600 backhoe, the boom down control stick feels mushy, (not a firm click), with no movement to the boom and other times when I push real hard it moves really slow at half power. The up control works fine along with all other control sticks. I've also noticed that my hydraulic pump goes under a big strain (lines start leaking), until I bypass the backhoe lines completely. I was told that maybe my o-rings need replaced. How deep do I have to go into the manifold to do this? I'm good at mechanics but will this require special tools and an expert to do this? Would also like pics pertaining to this if available.
I need Help!

You might try and removing the spool for the boom, and check and or replace the o-rings.

What do you mean by bypassing the BH lines completely?

If you are blocking the flow for any reason, the pump will try and build up to max pressure. Are you shifting a lever part way to allow flow to the BH?

Thanks for the fast response, I'll check it out.
My hydraulic line comes straight from the pump through the backhoe manifold and then to my front loader, I bypassed the backhoe by disconnecting the bh lines and running the line straight to the front loader from the pump.
thanks again

I guess I am confused here. You say your pump output goes to the BH first, and then to the FEL? Are you using a PTO pump for the hydraulics?
