Hi.
Just found my 4530 hoe bucket cylinder had the nut back off. It stopped working. I switched the hoses to the small arm and it still was not working. Tool cylinder apart and nut had come off piston???? It is a locking nut and it was off the rod end. Easy, yet messy, fix. No parts required. Hard to believe it just turned off.Anyone had this happen?

did the piston come off the rod inside the barrel? i can't imagine how you would get it out if it did. i just put mine back together and wondered how tight that nut should be, i don't have a torque wrench but used a 24" cresent to tighten it down and don't think it's going to go anywhere.
