Baby tractor with glide-shift?

My L4200GST is moving semi-permanently to a rural property that I recently acquired. I'd like to get another tractor to keep at the 'city' house, but I want something smaller than my L4200. I looked at both the B and BX tractors on Kubota site (they are awfully cute), but as far as I could tell, none of them come with a glide shift transmission, which I want. Did I miss something, or do I have to go with gear or hydrostatic on a smaller machine?

Actually on the BX, yes, you will only be offered HST

The B series does offer an traditional manual trans. I would love to know if dealers stock those as a matter of course. I could use one, I just don't know if they are readily stocked or not.

I have a slide stick on my lawn tractor. Used it fine the last 4 years. Still like it. But the rocker pedals were a very easy adjustment and much easier to stay focused on your work without having one hand always on the stick. My .02

I did see the B-series gear tractors, but again, I want a GST transmission. Is GST shifting offered in anything smaller than the L-series? If not, what about the other brands of tractors - I've been diehard orange so far, but would step across the isle if absolutely necessary.

Well, suggest you got to the Kubota website. Kubota.com

You can research the possibility of GST on a B, but no, you won't get anything beside HST on BX. No GST, No Shuttle

The glide shift is only available on the Grand L series of tractors - an exclusive to Kubota at this time.

Ya and glide shift can only be had without a cab. If you ask me Kubota missed the boat on this one.If I could get that 4740 with cab& glide shift I would have one in a heart beat.
