The hoe & dozer belong to a friend. He is doing the final prep. work before we start building. He showed me how to run it & let me play for a while. Hopefully I can run the dozer this week.

The equipment is sitting toward the front of our property in the pic. The house & barn location is 200 ft further back. Here's a pic of that area. The white spot marks a corner of the future house.
The General Contractor is digging the basement with the poured wall firm that he uses. I suggested having my friend do it to maybe save me a little, but he likes to keep it all with them. That is fine with me - I don't want any basement issues to argue over down the road.

My friend (trachoe owner) is hauling in shale rock for the roadbed today. He also has a dump truck. It will come in from the road to the garage & then around back to the barn sight.
