B7800HSD

Its a done deal. Finally made a decision on new Kubota. It was not a easy decision, however finally decided on the B7800HSD. I could only find a few things different on the 7800 compared to the 2910. Tele steering wheel, seat, headlights, 3point hitch is 1/4 inch Increments instead of the standard position control. I am not sure that the hydraulic pump is the same could be a little different. Lift capacity is the same. I finally decided on industrial tires and a five foot Bush Hog finishing mower [/list] with rear discharge and 6 foot bush hog rear blade.This package seems to be just what the doctor ordered. It appears to be a excellet tractor for the money. Will get it in about a week.
I can still change the finishing mower for a side discharge, does anyone have an opinion on that?

Congrats on the new tractor! I am sure you will love it!

I bought a 5 foot Woods RFM with read discharge when I got my B2910. I now wish I would have went with a 6' RFM. That would give me a little more sticking out on the sides, making it easier to cut close to a fence line or whatever.

I am glad I went with the read discharge.

So I guess I am suggesting you consider going wider on that RFM...I wish I had...now I will live with what I got... /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

I also feel you would be better off with a 6 foot finish mower you have plenty of PTO HP. You will love the rear discharge, I really enjoy my Woods RD 6000.

I have a 2710 with a 5' rear discharge. I love the rear discharge but wish it was 6'. The only reason I could see not to would be if you had tight places to get into. Enjoy.
