I'm looking at an 08 B7800 with L402 Loader. I have a question regarding the loader.
While test driving, I could not make the fel lift the front tires. Sales guy said other 7800 units he has had did not lift the front, either.

I've had a BX, L, and M series. I'm pretty sure all of the fel units would lift the front tires.

This seems fairly important to me as it relates to digging ability, and "walking" the tractor out of a jam.

I would apprciate comments from anyone using this same rig, or similar.

I have an 05 B7800 and can lift the front end 16" off the ground, but only when running at higher RPM's. Idle or low and it wont lift it.

The 7800 / 402 will lift the front wheels. Salesman is full of it or all of his loaders do not work properly.

Your digging capability (per se) will be greatly enhanced with a tooth bar. Without, it's not much in the way of unearthing compacted soil.

Check the relief pressure. I'll bet it is low.
Kubota is not very good about setting the relief at spec.

My B3200 will lift the front end at low idle.

My B-7800/LA-402 will lift the front end easily.
