Comparing prices, it looks like these two are about the same so why would you go with the 2410 if you need some added horsepower, weight, and loader and backhoe capacity? Does the 7800 not have postioning control or just the 1/4" adjustment? What about the 3 point hitch adjustments between the two, is the 2410 better and if so, can the 7800 be fitted like the 7500 with some different parts to make it more user friendly. Any help in comparing these two would be greatly appreciated. I actually like the smaller size but seems from the surface that the 7800 is much better buy for the money. Thanks

Novice here, but from my reading, positioning control is a lever (believe it's also called draft on bigger tractors, not sure), anyhow, by using this, it keeps your 3 point hitch at a more constant height when going over dips.....in other words, if you are dragging a box blade for leveling some earth, you won't get a roller coaster affect by going up and down over the bumps..... (someone please correct me if I'm wrong here).....
The 1/4" adjustment on the 7800 is a lever that allows you to adjust the height of the 3 point hitch to make your attatchments easier for you to install and also for you to ????? adjust the height as you drive the tractor (I think),,,,, that was my question tooooo ..... does the 7800 just have this feature or does it have the postitioning control????
Hope this helps you out.....kind of confused about it all myself since I have never used a tractor with a 3 point hitch attatchment...... but hope to soon

OK, if you like the smaller tractor as I do then get the smaller tractor, no brainer there. Around here the 7800 is priced a bit more than the 2410 but less than the 2710 and 2910. No, the 7800 does not have the Position Control lever which allows you to set the down limit effortlessly and exactly the same every pass. No, you cannot retrofit it in all practacality. Is it worth having--YES, is it an absolute requirment in this size tractor--NO. The 7800 is a bigger, heavier and more powerful tractor--if that is what you need--on the other hand the 2410 is a Deluxe B series with excellent manuverabilty and works well as a lawnmower with it's MMM attached (not great but decent), it works in close well and can use a backhoe. The 2410 is a stout little tractor, the 7800 is a bit bigger overall. Frankly I like the PC so I would get the Deluxe B series 2710 or 2910 if I needed bigger. J
