Newbie here, I have searched the forum and sought the advice of others trying to learn before posting redundant questions. Now I humbly ask you, the authorities on Kubota related matters, to help me with the answers to the following questions?

I have my eye on the last b7800 on the lot, with the 402 fel and the bh75 my dealer in California quoted me $25000 including the 7.25% sales tax. And $24500 for the b2920 set up with a 364 fel and the bh65.

Are the prices fair? The dealer down the road will sell me one for $22000 plus tax with a bush hog back hoe (not frame mounted).

My 6 acres has some hills and I would like to set it up for maximum stability, is it a good idea to put the spacers on to widen the track? It has 12-16.4 Ag tires on it but I was going to opt for the industrial tires, would it be wise to use a lower profile tire? I will load the tires.

I drove a bx23 around and it is very low and stable, is it going to be a better choice for hills? I would rather have more lifting capacity and speed of the B7800.

Should I buy the 2920 thinking it will hold its resale value a bit better?

Thanks, Matt

Stay away from 3 pt BHs.
I would go with AG tires.

Thanks, any advice for me on making the tractor more stable on hillsides? I understand straight up straight down but it seems smart to try to set it up to be a bit more hill friendly if you are going to operate it mostly in hills.

I am concerned that widening the stance or using a lower profile tire might create adverse effects.

I have the B7800 & I love it by the way. I do not have a Back-hoe and to be honest I have mixed feelings about it anyway. I have R4s not loaded and I never intend to load them ever. I am in New England and spring hear the ground can not support the wt of the tractor as it is. I would opt for Duel rears for stability and a softer foot print

I think your price is OK. I paid $16K for my B7800 and a BH75 would have cost another $7K or so.

I have 16 acres of maple wooded and very hilly forest. My Kubota B7800 with loaded tires is fine as it isn't too big to move around in the trees and it has 14.7" of ground clearance. I haven't needed wheels spacers on my tractor
