I broke off a grease fitting on my B7800 six ft belly mower on wife's darned rocks (ouch) and in the replacement process discovered that Kubota uses bushing inserts in the wheels of the mower. What a pleasant surprise since a lot of makers do not..
One of my bad feelings about the mower was thinking that after enough use the mower wheels would be sloppy from wear. Not true. The good news now is that will now never happen. If things ever get loose I'll simply replace the wheel bushings and things will be as tight and good as new.
If you ever snap a fitting off the mower my advice is to simply drill and tap for a larger 1/4" fitting. Much easier to do than trying to get the old stub of a small fitting out that was super torqued in by the resident sumo wrestler.
