b7610 won't start after washing

Ok- second wash since new. Sure looks shiny. But now it won't start. Didn't think I got it too wet. Any ides. Glow plug? Starter solenoid?
First key position where glow indicator usually turns on, it doesn't. Second (start) position - clicks and nothing. Clicks again when I let key go bask from start position. So solenoid appears fine.

Help, stuck in the middle of drive and I have to get the cars out of the garage.

Just start by looking at all the connections and things electrical that could have got wet.

Perhaps make use a hair drier for some of the components. Wifes permission first of course!

It turned out to have nothing to do with the washing (well maybe a little). Seems that some furry little critters made a nest under the air filter...quite the large ball of stuffing so my guess is chipmunks. Some of the shielding on the wire that apparently feeds the instrument cluster was eaten off. The 10 amp fuse was blown so maybe a little water help short the wires. Switched with the hazard fuse and it fired right up. Off to NAPA for a set of fuses. A few wraps of electrical tape and almost as good as new. I'll have the wire replaced with the 50 hour service.

You think maybe the little critters could have come with the crated machine and the nest was missed by the dealer. Just a thought. You mentioned it was new.
