I am no design engineer or wheel or tire expert. But i don't think any wheel is designed to wobble. if it was me i would be concerned also.

1" is excessive. I could understand 1/8" or 3/16" due to tire out of round or something, but 1" is unreasonable. If both tires are wobbling equally then I would look for something besides tires/wheels.

The first thing you have to determine is if it is the wheels or the axle that is wobbling.

Put it on axle stands and remove both rear tires and run it to see if the shaft is bent or shifting back and forth from side to side. You could also grab the shaft and try to move it from side to side (NOT while the tractor is running!). By a process of elimination you can find the problem. The dealer should have done that but you never know who did the checking at the dealer and how competent they were.

I have a B7510 and had a B6100 and neither has wobbled like that.

I have noticed that I have to retighten the bolt that holds the hub to the axle about every 5 to 8 hours but am only at 70 hours on the tractor so I expect that to clear up soon. I can hear it starting to creak when they get loose. I hope it is just a process of getting everything seated.

Now i do not know how many hours are on suess tractor. But for me the tractor has so many hours on it and tried to repair it as much as possible as i can. However if i took it to a deeler i am afraid and they did tell me possible new rear axle and 2 new hub for the rear tires. Now as many hours as we have on the tractor i dont justify paying to rebuild it. If less hours probaly would do it. I'd like to hear from others with these tractors.

There is 57 hrs on the tractor.
The side to side was worse when I had the hub to the inside. Since I moved the hub to the out side which puts it in the middle of the rim it is much better, the 1" figure I gave is with the hub to the outside. I have jacked it up and looked at the axle. The axle it self does not seem to be bent. I jacked up the tractor and with it in nutral I roll the wheel by hand with a socket next to the tire on the floor to check the wheel wobble. I Used a yard stick to measure the end of the axle while rotating for any bending. I borrowed a caliper and will be checking the axle and hub for distortion first chance I get.

OH BOY 57 hours on your tractor vs well over 2000 on this one. With ONLY 57 hours that would be right back to the dealer My family has owned kubota for the past 30 years and DanR67 was 100% right when said how would the japan folks think of that great engineers I should have read all post its earlier I was assuming more hours on the tractor watching this post because i would like mine fixed also keep me posted.

Suess,

I think it might help to quantify the problem. I you haven't already done so, jack the tractor up and check each rim for run out. Then ask a technician what the acceptable run out is BEFORE you tell him your results.

Good luck. Don't forget to keep us up to speed.
